Australian envoy shares wholesome video of puppy yoga session at Delhi office

As the world marked the 11th International Yoga Day on June 21, Australia’s High Commissioner to India and Ambassador to Bhutan, Philip Green OAM, shared a wholesome video of the team’s yoga celebrations from New Delhi.

The video, which has now gone viral, shows members of the Australian High Commission attempting yoga poses while being enthusiastically distracted by their four-legged companions.

Sharing the clip on X, Green wrote, “In the land that gifted the world #yoga, we decided to bring a little paw-sitivity to our practice!”

“This #InternationalYogaDay, we rolled out our mats for a wholesome #puppy #yoga session with some furry friends. It reminded us: wellness works best with a wag and a smile,” he added.

This year’s theme – “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” – resonated globally, with sessions conducted in various countries to mark the day. International Yoga Day has been observed worldwide since 2015, following a resolution moved by India and adopted by the United Nations.
